Meeting people should feel fun again.
The First Hello is a relaxed, in-person singles social for adults 25+ who want to meet people beyond the screen.
Through guided small-group conversations, lighthearted games, and plenty of mingling, we make breaking the ice easier so you can focus on enjoying the experience.
No pressure to find "the one." Just an opportunity to make a real connection.

How the Night Works
We've taken the awkwardness out of meeting new people.
Break the Ice
Forget awkward introductions. Everyone receives conversation cards filled with fun questions that make talking to someone new feel natural.
Mix & Mingle
Join small groups of 3 to 4 people, enjoy 5 to 7 minutes of conversation, and rotate. Add in games, laughter, and plenty of time to mingle!
Make a Connection
You'll receive 10 connection cards to share your contact information with anyone you'd like to know better. No pressure. You decide who gets one!
The only thing you have to bring is yourself.

A few things you might be wondering.
Can I really come alone?
Absolutely! The First Hello is designed for people who arrive on their own. Our group activities and conversation cards help make introductions easier.
Who can attend?
The First Hello is for single adults ages 25 and older who are open to meeting new people.
What if I'm shy or introverted?
You're welcome here! Guided conversations give everyone a natural starting point. There's no pressure to be the loudest person in the room. Just come as you are.
Is this speed dating?
No. You'll meet several people through small-group conversations, games, and mingling. Instead of one-on-one timed dates, you'll enjoy a relaxed social experience with rotating groups.
Do I have to share my phone number?
Not at all! You'll receive connection cards to share with anyone you'd like to get to know better. Sharing your information is completely your choice.
What should I wear?
Dress in something that makes you feel confident and comfortable. Smart casual is a great choice. There's no need to overthink it.
Just bring yourself. We'll help break the ice.

Free standby registration does not guarantee admission.
Submitting a registration without payment does not reserve a space or guarantee entrance to The First Hello.
Standby admission will depend on the number of confirmed paid registrations, the balance of registered men and women, and the remaining capacity of our event venue.
Paid registration is strongly recommended. Advance tickets are $15, compared with $25 at the door, if space is available.
Spaces are limited. Do not attend the event unless you have purchased a ticket or received official standby admission confirmation from Chemistry Unscripted.
